PILGRIM'S
PROPERTY  PROGRESS

On October 17, 1999 the congregation gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony.  A testimony was given about the many years that preceded this occasion and the property was dedicated with a sprinkling of soil from Geneva Switzerland. The salting of the soil was with hope and prayers that the 'Spirit of The Reformation' would take hold upon this work as in the days of John Calvin. The congregation in attendance sang "We Gather Together To Ask The Lord's Blessing". Perhaps the most moving moment was when plastic buckets and shovels were handed out to several of the children, who then commenced the breaking of the ground while the adults in the background sang "Holy, Holy, Holy."

After a wet and snowy winter, they are digging the
basement and getting ready to pour cement.

The crews are hard at work.

The cement was poured and

The block work is almost done in the basement.

Unusual circumstances caused us to have our service outside of our temporary place of worship so, we all pulled together with lawn chairs, benches, camping chairs, mini-van seats, blankets and had our service on top of our basement. (It is amazing what people carry in their vehicles) The Lord was gracious to us by giving us good weather, having the property cleared to accommodate all the cars and having it cleaner and safer for all the congregation to walk around on the grounds.  Thanks to the Bible Presbyterian Youth Missionary Team from Cincinnati, who came to help out a couple of weeks prior to work out on the property.

December 9, 2001

This day has finally come, after a lot of praying, sweat,
frustrations and many tears, the Lord gave us a place to call HOME.

No More putting up and tearing down chairs
No More emptying out the 'Church box' to set up the 'back table', the pulpit, audio and sound equipment, ect.
No More Hymnal box
No More out of tune, beat up piano to push back into a closet.
No More makeshift nursery with old broken toys in a hall way.
No More time restrictions

And many more NO Mores for all of us to be thanking
and praising our Lord our God for this
'fabulous-dream come true' early Christmas Present.

Our home all ready to be dedicated
